Boosteroid beta is coming. The team is just about to launch free beta of Boosteroid cloud services platform so that every user all around the world will have an opportunity to try our service and see how Boosteroid concept has been implemented. Beta will have limited functionality, thus, only some games will be available, while other software products will be added to Boostore later. Everyone will be provided with three hours to work on our cloud services platform. It is a nice opportunity for our users to see how the platform will operate.
Currently, the team is doing organizational work to launch beta, fixing, developing and checking things. At the same time, the project is also scaling and setting the servers. Boosteroid Chief technical officer Vitaliy Biriukov shared some important information about what is going on right now:
“We’ve been testing the platform in browsers, in particular Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and we’d like to inform that the web version of our platform works with the following parameters: 720/1080p resolution and 30 frames per second. That’s all a browser is able to do. When the desktop client is developed, users will have an opportunity to choose necessary configuration themselves – 720/1080/2k/4k p and 30/60/120 frames per second. Of course, the particular number of frames per second depends on the selected resolution”.
Boosteroid platform will be available to everyone in a web version. By November 2018, when the service is launched, the team will launch desktop applications for Windows and MacOS.
